Harrisburg Competition-
So, I went. Steve Balbier, a standup comic buddy of mine, and I went to the competition in Harrisburg. We met some cool comedians there, and it was my first competition, so I was a little nervous. The first contestant got up on stage and started singing the same two lines of a song over and over and over and over and over again. All the while he has a giant purple condom with a whipped cream can shooting whipped cream all over the stage and asking if anyone wanted a pearl necklace. Nobody laughed. It was disturbing. There were 12 comics in total competing to go on to the final round. I was getting a bit nervous until I walked outside, and went over my act in my head. For some reason, I felt much better. I went up, gave it my all, and waited for the laugh's. Nothing. Well, I shouldn't say nothing. A few people found a few things slightly humorous, but not much. In the end, a very cool guy named Randy Latini (www.RLComedy.com)won for the evening. He had a very funny act, and he seemed like a cool guy. I would have been a bit upset if the whipped cream jizz-meister had won. I would have dropped out of comedy on the spot. Yes, that is all that it would have taken. You lucky bastards!

This weekend-
Man, this weekend should be pretty awesome. I am performing 4 shows in three days, at four different locations. Friday night at Chuckles Comedy Club in Thorndale, PA. Saturday at Aaron's Comedy Cafe in Springfield, PA. Two shows Sunday, the first is a benefit for a 6 year old kid who is really sick (check out www.AntonioSeguiFund.com), then a show at The Courtyard Inn in West Chester. Next week, I am thinking about going to a comedy competition near Harrisburg, PA. The drive is about an hour and a half, but I think that a couple buddies of mine might join me. A friend of mine just went there this week and is moving on to the next round. The grand prize is a trip to Vegas. Wow, I've never been there before (in case you don't know, that is where I was born and raised). But, while the winner is in Vegas, they will perform in a show there. That would be very cool. Hmmm, is it worth the drive just to be shot down? I guess we will see. Seacrest out!

My new guestbook-
I just added a guestbook to my website. I wasn't going to build one, but I figured why not. This way, I will be able to find out more about people that visit my site...if anyone visits my site. I am working on a photo album now, I just need some photo's. I actually just got home from performing at one of Chuckles Comedy Clubs where I opened for Bruce Larkin and Kevin Sullivan. They were an interesting crowd tonight, with a few people in the front row who liked to groan. My act has never gotten groans, and these assholes were groaning...a lot. Then, Bruce Larkin's 20 minutes of retard jokes hardly got any groans, but a simple little priest joke of mine was apparently offensive. Now I have to wait until next Friday to redeem myself (hopefully) with a different audience. Great, this last crowd has officially ruined this upcoming week. And it wasn't even that great to begin with.

Alright, news story #1!-
Well, this is it. My first entry for my new website. I don't even really know what to put in this section. Should it just be major events in my stand-up career? Or should I fill it with rants about my new expriences in the field of comedy and let this be my comedy diary? I guess that I will just let it evolve by itself. If I feel the need to rant, damn it, I will. Every other computer geek has some kind of blog or online diary, so why not. Then again, I guess that it depends on how well this is received. I guess that anyone reading this will just have to keep coming back to see what really happens here. Because this is exciting stuff!!! Ok fine, it's internet diarrhea...you don't need to remind me.
